Vitra Alexander Girard 1952 Wooden Doll No. 18

Originally designed by Alexander Girard in 1952, this Vitra Wooden Doll brings a playful, human touch to mid‑century design. Handcrafted from painted wood, it reflects Girard’s instinct for colour, form and storytelling, created to add warmth rather than formality to interior spaces. Part collectable, part sculptural object, it’s a small yet impactful piece with plenty of personality and design history behind it.
