The Vitra Akari 1AD table light brings a playful twist to Noguchi’s signature lantern forms, pairing its rounded washi‑paper shade with those distinctive hanging details. It casts a warm, diffused glow that feels instantly atmospheric, softening a room without demanding attention. Each piece is handcrafted in the Ozeki workshop in Gifu, carrying the sun‑and‑moon mark that confirms its authenticity. A characterful little sculpture that settles into modern spaces with ease.
