In past collaborations with New Balance, Salehe Bembury has seen huge success for his colourful, eccentric and occasionally wild takes on classic styles. But this time round, he takes a surprisingly pared-back approach for the latest collaborative project: the 1500. Dressed in light olive suede with cream and pecan accents, the design features a light grey mesh base, tonal interiors, and soles that ground each step in plush comfort. The standout detail? Salehe Bembury’s name embroidered boldly on the oversized tongue.
