Maharishi draws on centuries of Japanese textile tradition with this Cuban shirt, crafted from lightweight Wagara cotton in an all-over Kasuri weave. Named after the Japanese word for “blurred,” Kasuri patterns are created by dyeing individual threads before weaving, giving the fabric its soft, uneven character on both sides. Finished in sumi black, it’s cut to a relaxed fit with utilitarian details throughout.
