Boyhood Ballon D'og - Large

Think back to childhood: if you didn't have a dog, your second-best wish was a grown-up shaping you a balloon dog. Boyhood's Ballon D'Og revives that. It's the first piece Jakob Burgsø built, born from a love of making things sparked in his father's workshop: "I absolutely love wood as a material. It's organic, alive, and it makes me want to create." In an Aarhus workshop, he told retired furniture builders he wanted to build a balloon dog — the look on their faces said it all, but he did it anyway. It's Boyhood's DNA: rooted in happy memories, made to spark a smile.
