The Artek x Marimekko stool 60 unites two pillars of Finnish design in a bold, collectible collaboration. Crafted from solid Finnish birch, Alvar Aalto’s 1933 icon is elevated with Maija Isola’s Kivet pattern — a 1956 motif inspired by hand‑cut circles and the natural stones surrounding her studio. The graphic rhythm of Kivet brings a sculptural, artistic edge to the stool’s clean, functional form. Compact, stackable, and unmistakably modern, it’s a piece where timeless craftsmanship meets Marimekko’s expressive design language.
